Hebrews_12:2_ fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Hypocrites

The problem with some of the rulers these days is the same as in Jesus’ day. They judge you according to how they interpret the Word, instead of listening to the Word (Jesus) behind the written words. They ignore the prophets who are being told what God says. For the sake of their interpretation they kill the prophets, as they cut them off from the assistance they so need (Ezekiel 46:18) and kick them out of churches. Now, everyone has to do his best to interpret the Word but when they so obviously become murderers (killing the prophets) for the sake of their laws then they have gone too far. They obviously have not applied the Word correctly.

Micah 2:11

        "If a man walking after wind and falsehood

         Had told lies and said,

         'I will speak out to you concerning wine and liquor,'

         He would be spokesman to this people.

Why is this true? Because they only see rules and laws but cannot hear God (see the Pharisees).

What people don’t get is that a person can be a great man of God one day and a Pharisee the next. Just like Jesus said to Peter "Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to Me; for you are not setting your mind on God's interests, but man's."  This is why people continue to believe the wrong decisions of some church leaders, because they are good men making a few wrong decisions. They, for a moment, for the sake of their friends or position, lie and cheat and pervert justice, believing they are right the whole time. Tell them the truth about themselves and instead of repenting, they dig in their heels. Now, some truly seeking God, finally, see their errors. But, the true Pharisees (the ones Jesus was speaking about), people who only see rules and laws, keep believing their lies (actually the lies Satan is telling them). You will know the ones who are truly God’s men by who gets on their knees.

Isaiah 3:12-15

12 O My people! Their oppressors are children,
         And women rule over them
         O My people! Those who guide you lead you astray
        And confuse the direction of your paths.

13. The LORD arises to contend,
  And stands to judge the people.

14 The LORD enters into judgment with the elders and princes of His people,
         "It is you who have devoured the vineyard;
         The plunder of the poor is in your houses.
15"What do you mean by crushing My people
         And grinding the face of the poor?"
         Declares the Lord GOD of hosts.

And… today God told me the below three times. That is what keeps me going: what He speaks to me. It is true and I believe Him and He will deliver me.

Isaiah 62:1-5

62:1 For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent,

And for Jerusalem’s sake I will not keep quiet,

Until her righteousness goes forth like brightness,

And her salvation like a torch that is burning.

2 And the nations will see your righteousness,

And all kings your glory;

And you will be called by a new name,

Which the mouth of the Lord will designate.

3 You will also be a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord,

And a royal diadem in the hand of your God.

4 It will no longer be said to you, “Forsaken,”

Nor to your land will it any longer be said, “Desolate”;

But you will be called, “My delight is in her,”

And your land, “Married”;

For the Lord delights in you,

And to Him your land will be married.

5 For as a young man marries a virgin,

So your sons will marry you;

And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride,

            So your God will rejoice over you.

If you’re not saved, Come to Jesus!

Note: I wrote this page several months ago (today is Dec. 27, 2008). I noticed the other day that the link to this page was covered up so I fixed it so this page would again show, as it should. It is not directed to anyone specifically. It is written so that a leader who has made a mistake will read it and be spoken to by the Lord and hopefully change his ways.

Romans 8:38-39 38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him (King James).
